Brief Profile

Doctor Zaidul Akbar was born on November 30, 1977, he is known as a doctor, Islamic preacher, consultant, and practitioner of sunnah medicine in Indonesia. Besides introducing JSR, dr. Zaidul Akbar is also one of the founders and General Chair of the Indonesian Cupping Association (PBI). He did not stop there, he also became the central administrator of the Association of Indonesian Traditional Medicine.


Discussing the background, dr. Zaidul Akbar comes from the city of Jambi. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine, Diponegoro University who entered in 1997 and graduated in 2003.


During his studies he opened a practice as a general practitioner in Balikpapan and Jakarta. After no longer working in the hospital, he studied Islamic medicine. This makes dr. Zaidul Akbar more often fills seminars and studies than treating patients directly.

Further, dr. Zaidul often insists that food is medicine. This is also associated with the halalness of a drug. It promotes the issue of halal and haram food on one's survival. Zaidul Akbar emphasized that the key to living a healthy life in any era is to return to the health of the Qur'an and the Prophet and His Nature. With this guide, dr. “When you are eating, start thinking that this food can be a problem to your body or it can be beneficial for your body. If we already think like that, we will be careful in eating, "he said.

Through the official Instagram account @zaidulakbar, dr. Zaidul Akbar often shares recipes for natural remedies in the style of the Prophet's Healthy Kick. This healthy lifestyle aims to reduce the incidence of various diseases in the body. This disease is most often caused by an unhealthy diet and a bad lifestyle.

For example, dr. Zaidul Akbar often talks about being diligent in consuming herbal drinks. This is a drink that can be used to relieve various diseases or just to maintain immunity. These herbal drinks can be made at home, such as ginger tea, turmeric milk, and spice stew served while still hot.


"It's a routine to drink herbs or rhizome spices, for example, drinking ginger, turmeric tomorrow, lemongrass tomorrow, tomorrow other spices in small quantities," he explained.

“Instant noodles are halal but not thayyib. The purpose of tayyib is to cause problems in the future. Eating too much instant noodles will definitely cause problems one day,” he said.


According to Dr. Zaidul, instant noodles can still be eaten but not continuously. This means do not consume excessive instant noodles. Remember that the level of "excess" can vary from person to person. This is described by dr. Zaidul with the sentence "there is no vessel worse than the human stomach". The portion of food in the human stomach is only one third, the rest for water and air. Therefore pay attention to the amount of instant noodles consumed.

Doctor Zaidul also compared Indonesian people, such as Korea, China, Hong Kong and Japan, who really like instant noodles. But these East Asian countries tend to have better health, including a balanced weight and longevity.
